November is SciFiMonth! Lets celebrate with 30 days of sharing our enthusiasm for all things science fictional hosted by There’s Always Room For One More and Dear Geek Place
“When a day that you happen to know is Wednesday starts off by sounding like Sunday, there is something seriously wrong somewhere.”
This weeks theme: A cover that is 60s sci fi.
My Choice: 1984
Urg I hate era cover themes! But only because I have no idea what a “60s” cover is? Sooooo I chose a SciFi book that was published before 1960 and this is all the covers published during the 60s.
Covers:
H.M. Shah Enterprises 1960 | Signet 1961 (1) | Signet 1961 (2) | Penguin 1961
Harcourt, Brace, & World 1961 | Signet 1961 (3) | Lanterne 1962 | Aldus 1963
Heinemann 1965 | Secker & Warburg 1966 | Ediciones Destino 1966 | Arnoldo Mondadori 1967
Mladinska 1967 | Penguin Books 1968 | Planeta 1969

Idk why I like this one, I just like the bold red with the black numbers. Its very striking.
Which is your favorite? Do you agree with my choice? Let me know in the comments!!
You picked a good one, and I like the way you chose covers from the 60s. I think I like the Penguin 1961 cover the best!

I love the Signet 1961 cover – it’s very modern, and very creepy (and if you’ve read the book, horribly on point)
