SciFiMonth – Friday Face Off: Futuristic

Friday Face Off is a weekly meme created by Books by Proxy, and run by Lynn’s Book Blog. You can check out all my past Friday Face Offs here.

November is SciFiMonth! Lets celebrate with 30 days of sharing our enthusiasm for all things science fictional hosted by There’s Always Room For One More and Dear Geek Place

“The concept of progress acts as a protective mechanism to shield us from the terrors of the future.

This weeks theme:  A cover that is futuristic.

It was really really really hard for me to pick only 4 favorites.  There are a lot of really good covers for Ready Player One!

  1. Wow. I didn’t realize there were soooo many covers for this already! Some are by far nicer than others. Lol. Your winner is def a good choice. Some reason I also like the one with the key.
    Happy weekend!

  2. Ooh Ready Player One! So many great covers. I LOVE the Pac-Man one !!! and also the Crown 2011 (I guess that’s a Space Invader-y one??). Oh wait wrong one- that’s Ediciones? Nemira 2016 rocks too, I must be drawn to the video gamey type covers?!?

  3. Oh my goodness! What a head-swivelling choice… I have two I can’t choose between – Subterranean Press 2016 and Foundation Press 2017. Both really pop, I think:). And a great book to choose for this week’s theme:))

  4. I wasn’t too impressed with this book, but I am certainly impressed with the number of covers! I agree with your least favourites. My favourite is Fischer 2019 and I quite like Ediciones B 2011 as well.

  5. Ready Player One has so many interesting covers! I actually have no idea which one is my favourite. Great post! 😀
