Monday Face Off: Favorite Fantasy Cover

Friday Face Off is a weekly meme created by Books by Proxy, and run by Lynn’s Book Blog.

I know I am late again! This weekend was Denver Pop Culture Con, so I was super busy!

“Simples”

This weeks theme:  A favorite fantasy cover.

My Choice: The Way of Shadows
This might not be my favorite fantasy cover ever.  Nothing came to mind right away and I have way to much stuff to catch up on to spend a lot of time deciding on an actual favorite.

Covers:

Orbit 2008 | Plaza & Janés 2010 | Orbi 2011| Artemis Yayınlar 2013

Paladin 2017 | Newton Compton 2017 | Bragelonne 2009 | Ufuk Publishing 2011

Exmo 2010 | Editora Arqueiro 2016 | The Unknown Kantath 2015 | Yulin Culture 2010

Which is your favorite? Do you agree with my choice? Let me know in the comments!!

  1. The more purple in the cover the more I’ll love it. Lol.
way to much stuff to catch up on to spend a lot of time deciding on an actual favorite…. I feel that way every time I get a question about book faves! Unless the answer can be P and P or Harry 😂

  2. lol… I’m glad I’m not the only one who ends up posting Friday Faceoff on a Monday – but what a good excuse! I hope you loved the Con, Brittany:). As for my favourite cover – it’s the Orbit 2008 – I’m interested to note that by 2011, Weeks is successful enough that they see fit to disfigure the lovely artwork by ripping a great bit ugly textbox across the lower third of the cover to feature his name…

  3. I love foreign language covers!! There is something so neat about non-Americans interpreting a story their own way through covers. My favorite was the Brent Weeks with the black swash behind his name. But the one you chose was a neat foreign one!! ❤️
