March Wrap Up

March

Books I read:

This was a great reading month for me!! I read 11 books and only one of them was a children’s book! For reference, in January and February combined I read 11 books and one was a picture book and one was a graphic novel.

Challenges:

  • 2019 Audiobook Challenge
    • New Books: 3
    • Total: 5/20
  • 2019 Retellings Reading Challenge
    • New Books: 0
    • Total: 2/8

Around the Blogosphere:

Phoenix

I actually have two posts from Amber @ The Literary Phoenix that I want to share!  The first is all about Audiobooks, and the second is why it’s time to stop judging people for the way they treat their books!

Bookiverse

In her February wrap up post Daniela @ Bookiverse explains what Metafiction is.  I had never hear of it before, but I love it!

Metafiction: Self-conscious fiction, in a nutshell. These unconventional books explore every aspect of the fictional genre–its devices, its relation to reality, even the experience of reading itself. Common methods include characters who realize that they exist in a novel, footnotes that reflect and interact with the novel as it progresses, etc.

Aurora

Aurora @ Aurora Librialis wrote a post explaining the six reasons she will follow your blog and I totally agree with them!

Written

Sarah @ Written Word Worlds gives tips on how to get over a fictional death, and I think she has some great ideas that we can all use!

Tentative TBR:

My shortlist / tentative TBR is getting long! This is not good haha.  Hopefully I actually get to some of them this month!

    1. Yay!! I’m glad you loved Grave Mercy and Dark Triumph! They are re-reads for me but I wanted to re-read them before I read Courting Darkness. Mortal Heart is my favorite from the original trilogy so I hope you love it ❤ You are very welcome!!
