Friday Face Off: Tudor

This is a weekly meme created by Books by Proxy, but currently run by Lynn’s Book Blog.

“‘I know I have the body of a weak and feeble woman, but I have the heart and stomach of a king”

This weeks theme:  A cover that depicts a novel set in the Tudor period

  1. I thought we’d see this author this week and I did also consider using one of her books. The covers have been lovely for this series. I think my favourite is the first but that could just be because of familiarity.
    Great choice.

    1. I had to search a while to find a book for this theme, nothing came immediately to mind, but as soon as I saw this one I knew it was going to be the one (but I still googled it to make sure it was actually Tudor 😂😂 )

    1. Haha I don’t dislike the movie cover 😂 Its actually the one I read! As far as movie covers go its one of the least movie-like, if that makes any sense? The problem I have with it is that their poses are awkward and feel photo-shopped together

  2. I have the winning cover! Ah, so happy to see Philippa Gregory. The Other Boleyn Girl is basically the gateway drug to Gregory’s books. Can’t wait to read more of her books this year after enjoying the Cousins War series.
