Friday Favorite Five: Books Featuring Assassins

Friday Favorite Five is a weekly meme hosted by Way Too Fantasy.  This weeks topic is books featuring Assassins.

I have never participated in FFF before but I LOVE books about assassins!

So, in no particular order, here are my top 5 favorite books featuring assassins:

With all the Hype around this book I feel like I don’t need to explain this one at all, but I love it and I wish I had my own Mr. Kindly!

I read this book a LONG time ago and I don’t remember much about it other than I absolutely loved it and devoured the whole series!  Its on my very short list of books I want to re-read (if only I didn’t have so many new books to read!)

Mortal Heart

I feel like this is the least known book on my list, but it is also my favorite! I absolutely LOVED this book! This is the third book in the series, but I chose to feature it because it was hands down my favorite (tho the rest of the series is phenomenal too!)

The Kiss of Deception

The main character was not the assassin in this one, but I think it still counts as an assassin book.  I loved this book and I thought it was written in a really unique and clever way.  Unfortunately I didn’t like the next two books in the series.

Alright, I kind of ran out of assassin books to choose, and (in case you haven’t noticed) I am slightly obsessed with this book right now.  I know Eli is more of a serial killer than an assassin, but there is a fine line between the two, so I am counting it!

What are your favorite assassin books? Have you read any of these? Did you love them too? Let me know in the comments!!

  1. Nice list! I actually haven’t read any of these but am taking notes. So many great books to read, so little time. 😊

I think Throne of Glass serious would be my pick… but I am drifting away a bit from Maas so maybe not. 😊
