Dani’s Questions:

1) Do you collect book-ish items?

Sort of?  I own a lot of bookish items and I collect Funko Pops but I don’t specifically collect book-ish items.

2) Where is your favorite place to read?

I have a giant bean bag (its like half the size of a full size bed) in my “nerdy room” (the whole purpose of the room is to hold all my nerdy stuff and books!)

3) Are there any songs that you associate with a particular story or characters?

The Fighter by Keith Urban makes me think of Saga for some reason.  I have never strongly associated a song with a book other than this one.  Its weird, but every time I hear it I just feel like it should be in Saga.

4) Is there a book/series that you used to love but as years have gone by found that you don’t enjoy it anymore?

Twilight.

5) Same question but in reverse! Are there any books that you used to hate but now find that you really enjoy?

I can’t think of any.  I don’t usually give books second chances.

6) Do you review books that you didn’t enjoy? Why or why not?

Yes, because I put the energy into reading it and I want to share my opinions.  Tho I worry when my onions influence people not to read a book because just cuz I don’t like it doesn’t mean they won’t either.

7) What is a trope (any genre) that you absolutely love to read about?

Enemies to Lovers!

8) What do you look for in a book villain?

I’ve never been a huge fan of villains.  I never really understood why people love them.  I guess I look for actually bad villains with no gray area to mess with my feelings.

9) What book are you most looking forward to its release?

I had been waiting FOREVER for Heroine’s Journey! It is out now but I am re-reading the rest of the series before I read the newest book!

10) Do you read self-published books? If so, who is your favorite self-pub author?

I don’t read a ton of self-published books, but I don’t have anything against them.  My favorite self-published author is probably Christopher Paolini but idk if he counts because he has now been picked up by a bunch of publishers.  I also really like by Michael McClung.

11) What made you start blogging?

I was reading a review on goodreads and the person had a link to their blog and I thought that was really cool so I impulsively decided to create a blog!

I had been waiting FOREVER for Heroine’s Journey! It is out now but I am re-reading the rest of the series before I read the newest book!

2) Your favorite book of the year, so far?

The Fire’s Stone!

3) Last book that made you ugly cry?

Sky in the Deep

4) Name two books that you would/do recommend to everyone?

Pride and Prejudice and Uprooted

This pic is 8 months old, my shelf is a disaster right now haha.

6) Three words to describe what books mean to you.

Escape, Comfort, Adventure

7) Your favorite book friendship?

Darcy and Bingly

8) Have you discovered a new author that you loved, this year?

Yes! Lots! V.E. Schwab, Adrienne Young, Elle Katharine White, Michael McClung, Jay Kristoff, Tricia Levenseller, and Ashley Poston

9) Bookmarks or dog-ears?

Dog-ears.  I know its bad but I don’t mind beat up books and I always loose bookmarks and they have a nasty habit of falling out of my books and losing my place!

10) Do you prefer one POV or multiple POV’s?

I don’t really care as long as its a good story!

11) Buy books, borrow or both?

I should save money and borrow books but I love buying books!
