Goodreads 2017 Challenge

I finished my challenge! I read 100 books! I may have cheated a little by reading a bunch of children’s books, but my thought is that if Goodreads counts it then that is good enough for me!

Did you finish your goal this year? How many did you read? Did you read any of the same ones as me? What was your favorite? Mine was Heroine Complex.

  1. Heroine complex was so good! It really reminded me of Buffy! Im so surprised you’ve never seen it! While I wasn’t thrilled with the sequel I read the synopsis for the next book and I have a feeling it may become my new favorite in the series.

    1. Heroine Complex was one of my favorite books of 2017! I wasn’t a huge fan of the sequel either. I didn’t know there was another book coming out!!! I will have to go check it out ASAP.

As for Buffy, if I watched more TV it would be one of the ones I watch, but I just don’t have time to watch a new series.

  2. Heroine Complex was a really good book. I need to get my review written up for it.

Yes, I reached my goal in 2017; I ended up reading 151 books. My goal originally was 75, then 100, then 130, then 145. It was a very productive year. Oh, and I read a number of children’s books, as well as a number of graphic novels and manga. So if Goodreads counts them as a book then so do I.

I think my favorites, if I was honestly going to try and narrow the list down, were All Rights Reserved by Gregory Scott Katsoulis and The City of Brass by S.A. Chakraborty.

    1. If you think about it, let me know when you write your review! I would love to read it! I will keep an eye out for it too.

Congrats on the 151. That is impressive 🙂 I had a handful of Graphic Novels on my list too 🙂 Have you read the Saga series?
